Under the unction of the Holy Spirit, Bishop Mulkey united with Bethsaida Baptist Church, Stone Mountain, GA under the leadership of Reverend James Chandler Senior Pastor. He was a faithful and active participant in this ministry. After surrendering to God and accepting his call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Bishop Mulkey was licensed by his pastor Reverand James Chandler and ordained by his father Reverend James Mulkey. In the year 1995, God imparted a vision and instructed Bishop Mulkey to start his ministry. In obedience to God, Bishop Mulkey went on to start Christ Sanctuary Fellowship Church and institute the motto: “Where the Word of God is Preached, and the Love of God is Shown”. Although Christ Sanctuary Fellowship Church had very humble beginnings, God has consistently been a faithful provider. As the founder and Senior Pastor of Christ Sanctuary Fellowship Church, Bishop Mulkey tirelessly labors to impart and rightly divide the Word of God. His love for God and God's Word extends far beyond the church walls. Not only is Bishop Mulkey a prolific speaker, humble servant, father, son and dedicated Pastor; but he is also the husband of his adoring wife, Deborah Denise Mulkey. Together they have thirteen children, fifteen grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Bishop Mulkey believes in and teaches the concept of “balance". Thus, when not doing ministerial work, Bishop Mulkey enjoys restoring automobiles, attending conferences, being an active member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity and he is presently the Bishop of Finance for Independent Churches United International (ICU).
